Email Notifications¶
The Notifications feature allows you to subscribe to email alerts for long-running background tasks in Search AI. Some tasks, such as web crawls, connector syncs, and training jobs, can take several minutes to complete. Rather than checking the job status manually, sign up for notifications that automatically send you an email when a task starts, finishes, or fails.
When enabled, you can:
• Choose which event types trigger notifications
• Add one or more team members as email recipients
• Receive alerts for both manually triggered and scheduled jobs
How to enable notifications¶
1. On the Websites or Connectors page, click the email icon to open the Notification Settings in Search AI.
2. Toggle the Enable switch on.
3. Select one or more event types you want to be notified about.
4. In the Send to users field, type an email address and press Enter. Repeat for each recipient.
5. Click Save.
Note
Notifications are disabled by default. Notifications are sent for both manually triggered and scheduled jobs.
