NLP-based App Topics¶
The platform supports two engines for creating Automation AI app: DialogGPT-based and NLP-based engines.
By default, new apps use the DialogGPT-based approach, which applies a generative AI–driven intent detection mechanism while using the same automation framework.
Existing apps built with the NLP-based engine use traditional intent detection and training workflows. Except for the intent detection engine, both approaches share the same core capabilities, including dialog tasks, node types, conversation intelligence, testing, and optimization.
The articles on this page focus on NLP-based features and help you understand, manage, and enhance apps built using the NLP engine.
