Templates

Templates in SMS campaigns streamline and standardize the process of sending messages, ensuring consistency and efficiency. By pre-defining the structure and content of messages, templates save time and reduce the likelihood of errors, enabling quick deployment of campaigns. Templates help maintain brand voice and compliance with regulations, ensuring that each message adheres to legal and brand guidelines. Overall, templates optimize the campaign workflow, making it easier to manage large-scale messaging efforts while maintaining high quality and effectiveness.

You can access templates by going to Contact Center AI > Campaigns > Templates.
Templates Page

The following details of the voice campaigns are shown in a table:

  • Templates: Name of the template.
  • Status: “In Use” if it is assigned to a campaign.
  • Actions:
    • System Templates: Clone and Preview.
    • Custom Templates: Edit, Clone, Preview, and Delete.
  • Type:
    • System Template: Available by default.
    • Custom Template: Created by the user.
  • Campaigns: The campaigns in which the template is used.
  • Created By: Name of the user who created the template (System in case of system templates).
  • Last Updated: The time when the template was updated.

Create New Template

Steps to create a new template:

  1. Click + New Template.

  2. On the New SMS Template page, enter the Template Name, and Description, and then click the 🖉 icon to enter the message.

  3. Enter the message in the dialog box and click Save.

  4. A preview message is displayed on the left side to show how the message will be displayed on the mobile device.

  5. Click Save.

    A custom template is created.

Edit a Template

Steps to edit a custom template:

  1. Click the Ellipsis () icon beside the custom template name and click Edit.

  2. Do the changes and click Save.

    The changes are updated.

Clone a Template

Steps to clone a template:

  1. Click the Ellipsis () icon beside the template name and click Clone.

  2. A cloned copy of the template is created.

Preview a template

Steps to preview a template:

  1. Click the Ellipsis () icon beside the template name and click Preview.

  2. A preview page with the message is displayed.

Delete a Template

Steps to delete a custom template:

  1. Click the Ellipsis () icon beside the custom template name and click Delete.

  2. A confirmation pop-up window appears. Click Delete.

    The template is deleted.
